       Weightloss
By: wonderfullyanonymous Date: July 14, 2018, 9:18 am

I have been watching my calories, most days, and probably walk 4
out of 7 days. I have walked myself down probably 2 pant sizes.
I usually wear loose fitting stretchy type pants. I have kept a
pair of pull up non stretchy capris, that I tried on a couple
weeks ago, and even though I could get them on, they were way to
tight to do anything but stand. Yesterday, not only could I get
them on, I was able to wear them comfortably. They were still a
little snug, but I could sit in them.

May I join this thread for inspiration?
At the moment my weight has plateaued, because I cannot
stand/walk for ten minutes without being in pain for hours
afterwards - but I've started swimming*, so I'm hopeful of
burning a few calories that way...
And if I can get tired enough to sleep better, I may become less
ravenously hungry [brain malfunction?] and start to choose a
       better diet.
       * This has to be done very gently, according to the physical
therapist - having re-torn my rotator cuff a couple of times,
       I'm taking everything slowly.

There is something called DDS Yoga, and it is made for people
who have limited mobility. I am going to try this.
This is the first story I had ever seen for this Yoga, and it's
       given me some inspiration.

Sorry for the late reply. :-[
I bought the DVDs for this, but even that was too challenging
       [at the time].
Now, I may be just sufficiently better to give it another try -
thank you so much for recommending it!

I went through my "fluffy clothes" to take to my brother's
church for their clothes drive. I haven't been this weight since
       the last century ;)
       Thanks for this thread.

I am waiting for my weight loss starter packet to arrive in the
mail. It's a program called Naturally Slim that is being offered
through my insurance company. It is supposed to be especially
good for diabetics (I'm a type 2). I am anxious to give it a
try. My official start date is next Monday. I know I'm going to
need some pats and hugs to get me through this, but I am very
       hopeful.

Thanks for posting that, Karen - gives me hope that once I shift
the extra pounds, I will be able to keep them off!
