       One my poor brother (now in his 40s) has never been allowed to
       forget.
       Brother was about 3 years old and looking through a photo album
       with our mother.  He stopped at a picture of Mum aged about 19
       with her dog.  In the photo Mum was wearing a pretty summer
       dress.
       "Who's that Mummy?"
       "That's Jim. He was my first dog."
       "No. Who's the lady?"
       "That's me."
       "Oh no Mummy.  That's a pretty lady!"
