Tonight I made Thai green curry chicken with eggplant and bamboo
. Garnished with extra basil and cilantro. Served with rice.

Last night was grilled mackerel fillets with home made cobnut
sauce, which is like pesto except you use fresh cobnuts instead
of pine kernels, and parsley instead of basil. It's delicious,
and like pesto it goes with pasta, white fish, oily fish,
chicken...

Warm salad of chicken livers. You just cut some lettuce into
fairly thin strips and put it on each plate; or you can use
rocket (that's what we call it in the UK; you may know it as
rucola or arugula)' or a mixture of both. Dress it with an
ordinary vinaigrette. Then fry up your livers fast in plenty of
butter, whomp them still sizzling hot on top of the dressed
salad, and snarf it down, with a piece of bread to mop up the
juices. Putting hot livers on cold salad seems a bit
counterintuitive, but boy is it good.

Don't like liver in any way shape or form (except
liverwurst/braunschweiger) but your description of the meal,
Aleko, actually sounds like it could, maybe, be quite delicious.

I made this yesterday when my DD#1 and her BFsam were in town:

With fresh picked spaghetti squash, tomatoes (instead of the
canned called for in the recipe) and peppers from the garden.
I did forget the enchilada sauce, but BFsam spiced the meat up
nicely with cumin, lime, a bit of mole sauce and I don't know
what else he put in there (I left the kitchen . . . he was in a
groove! ;D) and I didn't add the eggs (due to no liquidy sauce
;)).
It was a wonderful, delicious meal!
