I have hot water again!

For those of you who have been following my saga with water
heater replacement, they came this morning and it is in! And
working! Yay!

Yay! I very much sympathize, having been out of hot water for a
day in the dead of winter this year. I was just so happy to have
water though, as things were beginning to freeze. A few years
previously, I had had the water freeze up completely and it took
over a week to thaw - no showers, no dish washing, NO TOILETS!!
I think I hauled a couple of buckets a day so I could flush
overnight and in the morning, and I showered at a friend's. The
dishes were on their own...

We went waterless for almost a week when we had to have new
septic and water lines both put in. Made me rejoice at having
water and toilets again. Also made me give quite a bit to a
water drilling project in another country. (Those to whom has
been given much, from them much is expected.)

I've been away, so missed your update - great news! I hope your
landlord/lady organised and paid for it.
