Oh where to start?
Little Kitty is quite adept at hunting, despite a noisy bell on
her collar. I think she moves at supersonic speeds...
There was a little bird recently that fell prey to her. She
batted it about the patio for a while and we thought, 'well,
it's dead, and she's well fed, so let her play with it, praise
her and then we'll dispose of the poor bird'... ten minutes
later we look out to see she's disappeared and all that's left
is an unidentifiable portion of bird. I seriously could not tell
what part it was. DH was tasked with dispatching the remains.
Her other party trick is blue bottles/flies. She catches them
and traps them under her paw, letting them out after a few
seconds and catching them again and again. Sometimes she carries
them in her mouth and puts them on the floor to play with them
this way. Then you hear "crunch, crunch, crunch" when she tires
of playing and a happy purring as she licks her lips and wanders
off.
Our old cat, Jess, RIP, once punished us for leaving her alone
for a long weekend. She had food, water and a safe place to
sleep. But it was longer than normal so she decided to punish us
for the same number of days she was alone... Every morning we
came down to small amounts of cat pee at two foot intervals
around the skirting boards of the kitchen.
Non-cat related, we were on holidays for a week, height of
summer, and I forgot to empty the kitchen garbage bin... came
home to what looked like tiny pieces of rice all over the
kitchen... I still shudder and gag thinking about it and having
the clean up all those maggots and baby flies.
I don't have a problem with getting blood taken, I've great
veins and tolerance for pain. But my DH almost faints at the
sight of blood and cannot bear even the mention of a needle. I
was relaying this to a nurse one time while she was getting a
blood sample and just as she was taking out the needle this huge
spurt of blood comes out, just missing her. Relished telling DH
that just to see his reaction - EvilIrishKitty.

One of my dogs, Molly, likes to snap at these particularly large
and buzzy brown flies we get down here during summer.
Well, Miss Molly usually misses. Usually.
One day she was sitting on my lap, snapped at a large buzzy and
caught it! The look on her face was priceless! Gag, splutter,
gag, head shake, splutter, sneeze, gag.
She'd actually swallowed it by this stage, so no amount of
spluttering was going to get rid of it. Poor girl - I'm not
sure what upset her most. Actually catching the fly, or me
laughing myself into hysterics over it! ;D

Before I tell my story, I am fine, there were no weird bulls eye
ring indicating Lyme disease.
This may/may not be gross, depending upon how you feel about
ticks.
Some background, when school is in session, I go to OldestDD’s
house to be there when my oldest grandkids get off the bus. The
family had adopted Brutus, a Labrador puppy. He is crate
trained. When the kids and got into the house, I would snap a
lease on Brutus and quickly go out outside so he could do his
business. We’d walk a long way on the ?acre property.

During this past May, we’d follow our usual habit. One night, I
scratched an itch on my shoulder. Something was stuck to my
shoulder. Using my fingernails, I took off that stuck-on thing.
Ewww(!), a tick! Into the toilet it went.
A few days later, I had been home several hours when something
tickled my tummy. Ewww, another tick was stuck to me.
The following week, while at work, the outside of my ear kept
being itchy. Just before I left for the day, I went into the
bathroom, to see what was going on with my ear. DANG! another
tick. This one had been on my ear for almost 24 hours.
I’m fine. The bite locations took a long time to heal. The one
on my tummy is the last hold out. It keeps getting irritated
because of the waistband of my capri’s.

Reminds me of a story my old boss told us when he came back from
vacation.
He and his wife were looking for farmland for when they retired
(they already had a farm with plenty of animals but wanted a
larger place in a different location.)
They found a place and spent quite a few hours scouting the out
buildings, taking measurements, blah blah blah. Even though it
was a bit run down (uninhabited for a while) and overgrown
(weeds 3 ft high) they thought the price was right in a great
location and it would be a good fixer upper.
During the drive back to their hotel they both started itching.
"It was bad" he said "like something was biting us." When they
got to their room they stripped down and looked at each other
with mouths agape. They were covered in ticks under their
clothing.
They jumped in the shower and scrubbed off what they could and
spent the rest of the evening (instead of going out to a nice
romantic dinner) picking ticks off each other.
Boss said "I inspected and pulled ticks out from parts of my
wife's body that I've never even seen before!" :o
Yeah, they figured the property was tick infested so, no, they
didn't put a bid on it.

Your poor aunt and uncle. But that’s when you know for sure that

While I'm sure you're fine, the rash only occurs in 80% of
cases.

I'm pretty sure that her videos were mentioned on the previous
site - but the videos were on Youtube, not TCL.

I'm pretty sure that her videos were mentioned on the previous
site - but the videos were on Youtube, not TCL.

I remember her videos being mentioned on EHell forum too, but
this TCL series is new and current.
