I was half listening to the radio in the car this morning and
wondered what a "Llama-run Business" was! Then it dawned on me
that the words were actually "alarm around the business
       commmunity"! :D

As we have been having an abundance of tomatos in the food shelf
where I volunteer, I have been going around singing...
"One Ton Tomato...I ate a One Ton Tomato.." to the tune of
       Guantanamero.

"Juan Talamera, aqui va Juan Talamera. Juan Talamera, aqui va
       Juan Talamera".
(Translation- here comes a gentleman by the name of Juan
       Talamera).
Keep in mind Spanish is my first language- so I have no reason
to have misheard it like that! But it seems I was not the only
one to do so. Maybe the person singing that particular recording
was not enunciating words all that well.

One of my personal favorites is "there's a bathroom on the
right" LOL. The actual lyrics are "there's a bad moon on the
rise" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. But it really does sound
like John Fogerty's singing there's a bathroom on the right! :D

I may never hear one of my favourite songs in the same way,
       thanks to you!

From the very first time back in the 90s, I misheard one of the
       lines from Danzig's "Mother" as
       "What about UCLA?"
instead of "Not about to see your light".
Today, "Mother" came up on the radio while my BFF and I were
riding in her car. I told her how I misheard it. She could not
hear "What about UCLA?" at all. I still can hear nothing other
than "What about UCLA?" instead of the right lyrics!!! ;D

I’m just now watching the first season of “This is Us”. In one
episode Katie sings a beautiful rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s
       “Time After Time”.
I’m not even going into it, but holy moly was I shocked to hear
the lyrics fully enunciated for the first time.
There’s no mention of plush bathes, and that was just the first
       major shock.

I misheard a line in Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats".
I misheard "carved my name into his leather seats"
       as
"carved my name into his limousine".
But since a limousine is a type of car, I did not pay it a
second thought. Took me a while to find the right lyrics.

The Chiffons had a song called One Fine Day. I used to mishear
"One fine day, you're gonna want me for your girl" as "for your
first" and think "Um, you said he's 'the kind of boy who only
wants to run around.' So that ship has probably already sailed,
       honey...." Oops ;D

       Tayler Swift's "Blank Space"
A lot of people heard the line as "Starbucks lovers"
My DDs told me, when the song first came out, that it was "Star
       crossed lovers"
If you haven't heard the song before or don't know the true
lyrics, please let me know what you thought the words were (it's
in the chorus, repeated several times) before scrolling down for
       the answer.

       . . .
       . . .
       . . .
I just looked up the lyrics (to make sure I got the title
correct) and I guess everybody was wrong!
Then I watched the video with the real words in mind. Very
strange that I heard any of the other words. Once it was clear
what the real words are, I can't hear anything else! WOW!
The real words? "Got a long list of ex-lovers"
