Oh my goodness, I am so sorry! I thought I had updated but
apparently not, and sorry for taking so long to reply, Caroled.
I am, to my dismay but to my better health, still on the IV
antibiotics, and predictably they have made me feel unwell.
Which is better than what the infection would have done had I
not gotten them. It's been 6 days now, hopefully tomorrow he
will put me on oral. Not sure if they will keep me feeling yucky
too but it has to be better than being tethered to the portable
IV!
Anyway, yes, I did finish them about two weeks ago! I will post
pictures after the wedding, which is next Saturday. I will also
sometime later this week, when I can deal with it, post a
picture of the quilt that I am giving them.

Re: Origami - update with pictures

Finally! The wedding was on Saturday, and it was lovely. I don't
think they spent $1500 total, including the bride's dress ($30
at the Thrift Store when she was 15 - it was for the dress up
trunk, but then she decided she really did like it!), and the
bridesmaid's dresses and the groomsmen's vests and ties. Not a
lot of decorations. The only thing I think they could have
splurged a little more on was the cake - it was a simple little
round cake, got from the grocery store, I think! They had lots
of other cake for everyone, it was a dessert reception.
Anyway, here's a table with the boxes on it:

And one of the place cards at the head table:

And the bride graciously allowed her mom to do one little Pooh
thing, because yes, that's their names!

Thanks! They were a big hit with the kids - I saw a number of
children gathering up the ones that were left behind!
