What Happened?

I've been part of Brimstone since its inception and E Hell
before that. I've never had a problem signing in...until this
past week. I tried to sign in a few days ago and got a page to
Verify that I wasn't a bot...and it sent me around and around in
circles...never verifying...just going back to the beginning "we
need to verify you're not a bot."
Obviously, I've gotten into the forum now. But, has anyone had a
similar problem logging in to the forum recently?

Yes, I need to verify every time. Also, when I google "Bad
Manners and Brimstone" it's usually the first link that pops up,
but it's harder to find now and I need to bookmark the homepage
now.

I had a problem a little while ago. They said my password was
wrong so they sent me a verification code to my email so I could
reset my password. Never received an email. Okay, maybe they're
not so quick. Tried again the next day, requesting a new code.
No email. This went on for several days.
Then something clicked. I looked in my spam folder. And there
they were . . . all the emails they sent me. ::)

Ah HA! Maybe this is why activity is so low. I thought a core
group moved to a new site. So far I have had no problems
entering here.

I had the exact same experience on a completely different
website a few days ago. Can't remember now what site it was, but
I eventually gave up and just moved on.
So my guess is that website and this one are using some buggy
app to verify users. ::)

It seems to be back to normal. I don't need to validate that I'm
not a bot today. Hope it sticks.
