I'm not cooking this year. DD#2 and I are going up to my
mother's farm. In the past I've made the turkey, stuffing,
gravy, etc. the day before and brought it up to her (three-hour
drive) then re-heated everything so that she didn't have to work
on the day of.
This year, since my sister is there now, Mom doesn't want me to
bring anything.
Oh, and we're not having turkey. We're having chicken. Sis is an
avid mini-farmer. She bought 50 chicks earlier this year for the
purpose of raising and butchering. They have lots of harvested
chicken.
All of the sides, including the potatoes (both regular and
sweet), salads, squash soup, veggies, etc. will be coming from
Sis's garden.
Looking forward to the feast!
