Wouldn't It Be Nice If . . .

If dishwasher doors were rounded off on the outside top corners?
I've injured my ankles several times over the years while
loading or unloading simply because I've misjudged how close I
am to the darn thing!! That really hurts!!

Good topic.
Mine is, wouldn't it be nice if tax is included in the printed
price in all US states? I know the reason so we don't need to
discuss it, but wouldn't it be nice?

Some stores do this. "Tax included in price"
This could be a state law--lobby for it?

It probably boils down to simple aesthetics. If the corners of
the doors were rounded, there would be a gap between those arcs
and the flat surface of the counter above it.

I googled about the dishwasher door thing and try as I might I
couldn't find any kind of an answer.

On the same general note as the dishwasher door--if the corner
of that shelf that is part of a mammogram--the one where they
tilt the machine and that corner goes into your armpit? If that
was curved so that it didn't make things even more
uncomfortable.

here's one!
Akin to the dishwasher.
We have a portable air conditioner in my daughter's room
(because of the windows).
It sits with its back against the window it vents out of, with a
long flexible tube behind it going to that window.
It has a tub that collects water when you have it set to
dehumidify. But that tub is accessed exclusively FROM THE BACK.
Which means you have to roll the AC unit out away from the wall
and mess with the tube, in order to pull out the tub and carry
it away to empty it. Then put it all back. You get about 2 or 3
hours before that tub is full and needs to be emptied.
Wouldn't it be nice if it was accessible from the front? So you
didn't have to disarrange everything to empty it?
Though I'm starting to think maybe I could set an aquarium pump
in it; there's a fitting to let you attach a hose to the back so
you can run it to a drain (though we don't have a drain in the
bedroom); maybe the pump could push the water to the fitting,
and then the host can run from the fitting to out of the window.
Wouldn't it be nice of the water tub

Not like this. I live in Los Angeles, the city proper. Sales tax
is 9.5%. Less than a mile south is Culver City, which has a
10.25% sales tax. Therefore, taxable items bought in Culver City
will cost more than in Los Angeles. I think that should be
itemized in the price of an item. But, I agree, even though we
all know there's going to be sales tax added on, it should be on
the price tag...but itemized.
