If your asking for board book suggestions, I picked up Munch and
Baby Beluga last year for a shower. I thought both were cute.
Clip on toys are also great. And a stuffed animal hammock is
always useful for all the stuffed animals others are going to
       bring.
But if there is a registry, I'd start with that.

I usually buy books for baby gifts. Not usually board books,
books for later. Some favorites are Charlotte’s Web, Katie and
the Big Snow, The Philharmonic Gets Dressed, What Zeesie Saw on
Delaney Street, and Blueberries for Sal.
I recently learned to crochet baby blankets, so I’ve been doing
       that, too.

Anything that a baby will go through a lot of is a great gift.
Diapers, onesies, wipes, burping cloths, absorbent bibs for when
teething starts and baby is a big puddle of drool, diaper rash
cream, baby body wash or shampoo.
Then personalize it with something that you loved as a mom (if
you are one) or something you loved as a child. Books are
great. When I was shopping for my DsD, I found these little
lovies. It was a cute little animal head with a square of soft
blanket material as the body. One was a sheep and the other was
an elephant, I think. So a comfort item for baby.

Our grandson has a lovey like that and he loves it. His is a
monkey. They have three of them. So one is at our house where
we babysit at least twice a week, and I think maybe one stays in
the car. He doesn’t seem to care that there is more than one.
When he’s sleepy, he goes and gets Monkey and snuggles it.
       Great gift.

Those onesey suits all in one piece, so baby's belly doesn't
       hang out.
Diapers and board books are a great idea!

I'm glad that I asked this question. I have another shower
coming up next week. I bought this baby a book, too. I found
some nice socks, baby mittens, and some bibs to go with it. I'm
loving the new baby colors. I bought things in bold oranges,
greens, and dark grays. So cute!

I like bright colours for babies, too. Pastels look gray and
       washed-out very quickly!
