       Yeah, simple and elegant was what I was looking for -
       notwithstanding the hot pink shoes!  I was thinking lavender or
       royal blue shoes, but when the stylist suggested these, I liked
       the idea of stepping (no pun intended) outside my comfort zone a
       bit.  They won’t show much anyway, and they will be fun to have
       later.  They are a copy of $$$$$ Manolo Blahniks.
       I’m too small to carry a lot of decoration, and I don’t look
       good in the chiffon-and-sequins type of dress or floaty fabrics.
       I do better in more tailored, straight lines.  My arms are
       okay, so sleeveless works, and I love a boat neck.
       I’m hoping that this dress will be the rare “unicorn” long gown
       that can be cut down to cocktail length after the wedding.
