media requests on my message board

I moderate a message board that has started getting media
requests. The latest is from a guy who wants to ask for user
experiences with a particular service. It is analogous to, "I
want to ask for your Pokemon card message board's experience
using the three major card grading services Professional Sports
Authenticator, Sportscard Guaranty Company, and Beckett's
Grading Services. Can I make a post and ask for people to
message me their experiences?" My initial thought is to ask him
to credit the forum or at least give us a shout-out, but I'm
wondering if that's polite or Simply Isn't Done when it comes to
those sorts of things. I suspect that he's probably canvassing
any Pokemon card forums he can find, not just ours, so I'm not
sure what the plan is on that front. I'm just not sure what the
etiquette is around these types of situations.

I think he should credit the message board for where he got his
research. So I would make the request if your hope is to drive
       more traffic to the board.
