Ooh, both those things would annoy me too, especially the second
       one.
I'm assuming the Livestream Camera Man knew that he was supposed
to be livestreaming the speeches, as well as the first dance?
Because if he did, and chose to leave early anyway, I'd be
leaving him a negative review as well! He was paid to do a job,
and only did part of it.

Both the florist and the video guy at my daughter’s wedding did
things so egregious I won’t repeat them, because I don’t ever
want to think of them again!
It took a loooong time not to let those things be my dominant
memories of the wedding. But now, seven years later, I am able
to look back and only think of how wonderful it all was anyway.
So I completely get where you’re coming from! I hope you, too,
will be soon able to remember only the best parts. It’s like
choosing photos to print; just keep the good ones.

Another question: was the Event Planner aware that the Camera
Guy was meant to be live-streaming the speeches as well as the
first dance? Because if not, I don't think the Event Planner is
really to blame for moving the first dance. I can imagine the
       conversation going like this:
Camera Guy: Excuse me, what time is the first dance scheduled
for? I'm meant to be staying for that so I can live-stream it,
but I need to leave right after, as I have another commitment.
Event Planner: The first dance is scheduled for 7.20pm.
Camera Guy: That's too late. I need to leave well before then.
Can you see if the first dance can be moved earlier? Otherwise,
there's no way I'll be able to stick around and live-stream it.
Event Planner: Hmm, how about we move it to just after the
entrance at 6pm? I'll check with the Bride and Groom, and let
       you know.
Camera Guy: That would be perfect, thanks!
If however, the Event Planner DID know that Camera Guy was meant
to be live-streaming the speeches as well, then she absolutely
shares some of the blame! (And she shouldn't have been so
       accommodating).

She communicated the schedule to the livestream guy 3 days
before the event. If he had any concerns he should have aired
them then. Her response at the event should have been " You
knew what time these things were happening. If you cannot do
them then you're in breach of your contract.
The whole point of having a planner is so that the Bride and
Groom are not disturbed by nonsense like this. And even then, my
daughter in law told her to talk to me about it first, which she
       did not do.

I'm so sorry that this happened! I would probably bring it up,
but if you were happy with everything else, I'd let it go.

Ooh gosh! If the Event Planner was the one who set the schedule
then yes, she jolly well ought to have reminded Camera Guy that
he'd committed to live-streaming everything up to and including
       the first dance.
And yeah, Camera Guy should absolutely have spoken up three days
ago if the schedule didn't work for him! That would grind my
       gears too.

Agreed. I would go as far as to say that when Camera Guy
realized that he had a second obligation later in the evening
that he should have clarified and ensured that he could do both.
"I am only available until 7:15pm; will that work for the
schedule?" That would allow the Event Planner and HC to decide
if they wanted work the schedule around his availability (way
BEFORE the big day) or if they needed to look into using a
       different vendor.
