So happy for my sister!

I have a sister who lost most of her sight in one eye do to a
detached retina. She went through 2 surgeries where they tried
to reattach and after each she had to spend a week or more
laying her head down but the surgery did not work.
A few weeks ago she thought she was going to need cataract
surgery on her other eye but they found that her retina was
detaching in that eye. She was so terrified of being completely
blind and she was also dreading the 7 to 10 days of having to be
face down. But she had the surgery last Saturday and instead of
laying down, they wanted her face up and tilted to the side. By
Tuesday she was already getting her sight back and yesterday she
said her vision in that eye is clearer than it's been in years!
They also replaced her lens so she'll no longer need glasses for
distance or for reading.
Such a great result!
