We have been blessed!

SIL and two of her married, adult children are taking a vacation
rafting in the Grand Canyon
This week there were reports about a flood that killed one
person and injured five others at a rafting camp. That was
where our family members were spending the night when the flood
hit.
Niece was able to escape to a boat. Nephew was injured by
debris but not badly. SIL was one of the two missing until the
following day. She was later found alive and not badly injured.
We learned about it when another nephew, who hates camping and
declined to go on the trip, sent us a New York Times article
about the incident.
We’re blessed, indeed.

Oh, my! What an adventure. I'm glad they are all safe. I'm
sorry that wasn't the case for some others.
