I haven't drunk soda, coke, pepsi, etc. for years.
I haven't either and I used to be addicted to soda.
I haven't had juice in years either. It seems too sweet now,
even when diluted with water. I rather eat the actual fruits.
I actually really like a splash of a juice or juice type drink
in a glass of cold water. It gives it just enough taste for me.

- which are a whole lot healthier for you, too. A glass of
orange juice contains a huge sugar hit, because you get pretty
much all the sugar you’d have got if you’d chomped through the
three or four oranges it came from, but hardly any of the
dietary fibre contained in a whole orange: so there’s nothing to
buffer your system from this sugar rush. And although you’ve
just taken on a load of calories you don’t feel any fuller for
it, as you certainly would if you’d managed to eat a bowl full
of oranges: so drinking fruit juice also encourages people to
overeat.

Apparently, many 'fruit juices' are good for you in
moderation...like anything else. Here's an interesting article I
found about it.

I have discovered I don't want to eat sauerkraut any more. I
used to love it, particularly the jarred kind with the caraway
seeds, but for some weird taste-bud reason it's just too sour
for me to enjoy any more.

Oh no! I usually get the bagged kind, and i rinse it thoroughly,
place it in a crock pot with sliced onions, and an apple cut in
half and cored. Add garlic and onion powders, salt and pepper,
and cook on low for eight hours, adding in the kielbasa only in
the last couple of hours or so. Its sour but not overly so.

I never wanted to eat sauerkraut, lol!!
I have pretty much stopped eating meat, but my neighbor sent
over a plate from their big holiday dinner (for family). Piece
of ham, piece of rare roast beef. I had some of the ham with my
egg this morning, trying to think of what to do with the beef. I
can't remember the last time I ate any. Maybe shred it and put
it in the freezer for a future stir fry?

Personally, if a good flavourful piece of beef is roasted rare,
I think it's a shame to reheat it in any way; I'd just eat it
sliced cold with creamed horseradish and a salad. Though I can
appreciate that if you have got out of the way of eating meat
that might just be too full-on carnivore for you. If you so, do
you have any friends or relations who love rare beef?

I'd do a stir fry but I wouldn't shred it. I'd slice it into
thin strips, cook up all my vegetables, add the beef at the very
last second, stir and serve immediately. I wouldn't freeze it;
I'd try to use it in the next couple of days.

Dairy products. During my first pregnancy I developed a distaste
for it that continued beyond that nine months.
I still like Greek yogurt and skyr very much. Once or twice a
year I'll have feta on a salad or a bit of ice cream (we have
amazing creameries around here). No more milk, cheese, or other
creamy foods for me.
It's funny that I used to like them but now I can't even
remember what I liked about them. When I think of a glass of
milk, I can only think of a bad aftertaste and a heavy feeling
in my stomach. I can't recall any appreciation for something
fresh or refreshing or pleasant. Same thing with cheese, even as
much as I liked a very sharp cheddar or something melted and
gooey-- I can't remember my enjoyment of those now.
I wish I could make that happen with other foods!
