Re: A glitch in the Matrix or Mandela effect???

My husband is convinced he has a ghost attached to him. I've
named him 'George'. Now when we can't find something we're sure
should be in a specific spot, we ask George if he could please
put it back. It has worked. Car keys hanging on a hook, under
a coat, that we both remember looking under, for example.
Sometimes we find things in places we don't remember putting
them in.

This is actually a Mandela effect story and not nearly as
interesting as the other stories but I thought I'd add it
anyways. If you're familiar with Michael Jackson's "Thriller"
album, then you know the front cover is a picture of Jackson in
a reclined position and leaning on his left elbow. But I could
absolutely swear when the album was first released back in the
80s the album cover picture was flipped the opposite way with
Michael Jackson leaning on his right elbow! It's a really
insignificant thing but it's always bugged me. LOL.

I think I just experienced a glitch in the matrix.
I go for a walk almost every day, weather permitting. My usual
way home is to walk past the house with the fruit tree, then
straight until I get to the house with all the stone animal
decorations and turn right, then it's straight until home. Today
I turned right at the stone animal house and all is well. I see
all the usual houses and landmarks....until I didn't. Freaked me
out. I didn't want to keep going and get lost so I turned around
and started over. But how did I end up in the middle of a
completely different neighborhood? I know I was on the correct
street because I saw and walked past the purple house on my
street (you can't miss a shocking purple house).

I walk in my neighborhood daily and have experienced something a
bit similar. I listen to audio books as I walk, and even then,
my mind wanders sometimes. I occasionally look up and think,
"Where am I??" It takes me a minute to get my bearings. And
sometimes, I'm on the wrong street! Even though I think I went
the right way.
I think I depend a lot on muscle memory -- knowing when to turn
right or left... and sometimes, even though I think I have a
memory of going the right way, maybe that memory is so engrained
from me doing the same thing every day, that I just THINK I've
gone the right way.
I've started to do my regular route in reverse some days, just
to break it up a bit. I don't want to vary it too much, as I
have it figured out to be almost exactly 4 miles which is what I
want to walk each day.
