Niece's facebook request

A niece on DH's side put out a request on her facebook page
asking that we carry on this week as if there is no such thing
as Mother's Day since she can't have children. Oh, but she
really loves her step daughter....it's just not the same.
The thing is....she can have children. Her DH can't. He got a
vasectomy years before they met.
I know better than to say anything, but daaaaanggg.
For the record, this is the same niece who invited their
vaccinated friends to a party to celebrate being able to do
that. The outrageous part being that she posted on facebook for
their friends to let them know if they've been vaccinated so
they would know who they could invite.
It may be time to mute her.

Based on just the two stories that have been shared, Niece
sounds like a piece of work, and a trial to live with. Maybe I’m
snarky, but I hope these aren’t all she has to offer the family
and the world.

Oh, I love that!! I might have to steal it.
Especially since it's "Nurses week" and she's busy celebrating
being a "hero".

Well, it's very nice to know that her commitment to her husband
transcends even her wish to have children.

How about “I would like to support this but i have a friend that
wanted to be a nurse and it didn’t work out so I’m carrying on
as normal this week to protect her!”
