When you cut open a hot pepper and go to remove the seeds and
ribs (the hottest part), do NOT scrape them out with your
thumbnail. I felt as if I had a lit match under there. (On the
other hand, a grapefruit spoon is perfect for this).

Me:
1. Put in contacts.
2. Apply eye makeup.
3. Put on glasses
4. Wonder why world is blurry.
I don't wear my contacts very often, so I genuinely forget
they're in.

Back when I was new to the Smart Phone world (I was a late
bloomer there), I was talking to my friend. On the Smartphone.
While frantically searching my apartment for my smart phone.
I did this. I even double-clicked my Tile--and then my face
buzzed.
I did it again last week, four times, on the same phone call.

Once I forgot to add a can of water to condensed soup. The dumb
part was I ate it anyway while wondering why it was super duper
salty :P

I intentionally only add about half a can. Otherwise there
aren't enough noodles! ;D

As my husband and I were out making several stops this weekend
and had parked at a new stop, I watched him search around in the
car, his pockets, the console...I finally asked what he was
looking for. He couldn't find his mask that was still on his
face.

When my son was about 6 he was next door at his best friends
while his mom was preparing jalapeño for tacos. Son had a bad
habit of snitching bits from the chopping board and saw an
opportunity. Next thing he was running for home.
First I knew of it was hearing screams, closely followed by a
small boy coming through the backdoor, eyes streaming. I thought
he’d cut his fingers off. Once I calmed him down a little and we
flushed his eyes out, I found out he was suffering from the
effects of rubbing pepper oil into his eyes from touching the
cutting board.

I know there's a logical answer like I cut the peppers for my
dish then afterward drove to the party, but I have to ask
anyway: You didn't cut peppers while you were driving, did you?

Whilst on crutches, I got in the habit of carrying my phone in
my bra when going room to room. But would occasionally forget.
Even had Mr. S call it so I could find it. And my boobs started
to ring.
Years ago I had a very small kitchen timer that I would stick in
my bra (no pockets). One year for Thanksgiving we had about 20
people seated around the table when my boobs started to buzz
very loudly. I jumped up, grabbed my breast, and said "The
rolls are ready!" as I made a dramatic dash for the kitchen.
People were amused.
