Waiting for my turn, but some things I can't wait to do: Have a
LONG overdue haircut and color, go to a bookstore, and finally
hug and play with a young relative.

I hear you! After I scheduled my shots, I scheduled a haircut.
(I am still waiting for my second shot and haircut.) My good
friend and her husband are getting their shots a couple weeks
behind me and my fiance. We are planning to do something 2 weeks
after their shot.

A bit off topic but related. I just moved into my own home for
the first (and likely last time), and between a box of 40 rolls
of toilet paper and what I had inadvertently packed when I moved
to my interim housing I must have enough TP to last me for six
years. I am not kidding. For many years now I have had the habit
of keeping about 100 rolls of it as a routine but even I was
astounded to keep finding boxes of it. Even in this new house,
shelves all over are filled to the brim and the back with those
rolls.
I also seem to have enough dental floss, paper towels, cat food
and litter, and dishwashing soap to keep me from even thinking
about buying them for a long time.

I'm in the high risk #3 of 4 so won't get the jab until May. I
actually didn't think I'd get it until next year. Life is pretty
normal here though, I can't imagine being locked down for so
long. Enjoy your new freedoms, you've earned them.

I got my first shot a week ago and I'm getting my second shot
soon. The first thing I'll do after I'm fully immunized is hit
the craft stores--how I've missed them. Then the nearest Barnes
and Noble, and Half Price Books, and then the garden center.
It's all planned out!

I'm hoping to get my first shot within the next few weeks.
I look forward to attending bead and yarn shows, the Hollywood
Bowl, and traveling. I don't feel safe to travel until we've
both been vacc'd (husband has had his shots already).
Also just plain old socializing - hanging out after lunch in a
restaurant, family birthday parties, holidays, etc.

Everyone in my state aged 16 years or over will be eligible for
the vaccine as of Friday, April 2! I have a sudden urge to go to
a museum!

I get my second dose tomorrow! Then, I’ll feel comfortable going
back to work and out to eat. I can’t wait to get appetizers and
dessert properly spaced from my entree. Otherwise, my life
hasn’t been too restrictive. My kids are back to in-person
school, and my husband and I are part of presenting virtual
church.
I am most looking forward to stores opening up fitting rooms. My
wardrobe is really suffering, and Amazon isn’t quite meeting my
needs. Hopefully soon!
Also, much as I love him, I can’t wait for my husband to be back
to on-site work. We share a home office, which works when he
just has the sporadic project to finish up at home. Not so much
when he’s there All.The.Time. The time is coming!

We’re looking forward to travel again.
Our second Pfizer shot will be the week after Easter and we’ve
started looking at simple things like an upper Mississippi or a
Great Lakes cruise. We won’t go all that far at first.
Eventually, we’ll get back to Europe but not for a year or two.
Still, things are slowly starting to lighten.

Got my 2nd shot today! Am really hoping to fly down to Florida
for my Dad's 85th birthday later this summer. Both of my parents
have had both shots, so it should be OK. If we're lucky, my
sister will be able to come, too. She's supposed to get her 1st
shot soon.
