Did you find out if you can put signs up?
       [/quote]
No, I did not. I realize that this might upset some
participating in the thread, but if I'm honest, if they hire
individuals who feel comfortable making fun of my appearance,
then they probably also hire people willing to disregard a sign.

Their behavior is beyond rude and obnoxious. At this point, I
think that I would call the non-emergency police number and ask
what to do to "trespass" them. I'm not sure how much good it
would do to contact Verizon, because it sounds like they don't
care about how they treat potential customers. I've never dealt
with door to door solicitors who are that obnoxious and won't
leave you alone. In my experience, I tell them, "thanks, but i'm
not interested, have a nice day," and they leave me alone. The
people at Verizon need to get it through their thick skulls that
being jerks isn't a good way to get customers.

Contacting Verizon probably wouldn't do much. These sales people
probably don't even work directly for Verizon. A lot of the
       wireless companies outsource their sales.

I believe that you are correct. The local Facebook group
mentioned that the first group that went through were
contractors. Other than being offended, I didn't really get to
speak with the two who visited last week, so I'm not sure.
Either way, they were wearing Verizon shirts... that is not how
I would want my company represented.

       The plot thickens...
I just received a call from my neighbor who was out of town last
week, but has a Ring doorbell. She had a window damaged by these
salespeople. We're not sure if it poor judgement (these two gave
me no faith in high intelligence) or if they were not with
Verizon and were casing homes. The neighbor is calling Verizon
to make a report since she had the property damage, but this is
       making me wonder...

I would suggest she call the police first.
