LOL! and welcome to the forum! ;D
Yeah, it probably would be a good idea for us used-to-be's
(members of the old forum) to describe what the thread is about
when starting it anew on this board. ;)
We had two rather successful threads "Dear Dog" and "Dear Cat"
on the old forum where people would simply write letters to
their dogs/cats . . . things that they wished their animal would
understand as if they were human or things the human wished they
understood about their animal.
Just fun/random thoughts . . . enjoy!

Dear Taffy:
We are so so so sorry you got struck by a car, and we are
thankful that you recovered. Please believe me when I hug you
and tell you that the thunder you are hearing overhead is not
the car coming back to get you. I promise you are safe from bad
cars now and forever, and all of us are always here to hug you
and tell you it's all right.
Love, peony

Dear Zoe,
Barking loudly at the hedgehog is not going to make it uncurl so
you can chase it or bite it.
While we're on the subject, doing this at 11pm, when you are put
out last thing before bedtime is not likley to be popular with
the neighbours. Please remember that the idea is to go out, do
what's necessary quickly and quietly (preferrably without
discussing anything with any passing hedgehogs!)

Dear Benjamin my sweet dog,
I know you are upset with me that your cat Harvest got a new cat
tree. She loves it and is truly the queen of it. Since you
won't even jump on up on the couch, I seriously don't think you
will love a cat tree. You are my best furboy and I will still
pamper you.
PS, don't forget, you get rides in the car and cat never goes
outside.
Love your mommy.

Cimmy,
You are a 60lb pitbull mix. You do not need to bark and bellow
viciously at a 1 lb turtle. I'm not sure what your issue with
turtles is, but even you can't bite through that shell. Just
leave it alone!

Dear Socks,
I have watered the window boxes every summer since we moved into
this house 20 years ago. You have seen me do it for each of the
4 years you have been on this earth. It is not a new thing.
Why did you find it necessary last night to make such a racket
when you saw me outside the window that the other human rushed
downstairs to see where the burglers were? ???
She who wields the watering can.

Dear Dog,
The neighbors have a right to pull their own car into their own
driveway and walk into their house.
There's no need to bark like assassins are creeping up our
sidewalk.

Dear Puppy,
What is it with the neighbor's golf cart you hate so much? You
should know them by now and not bark your head off at them.
Also you are 1/2 border collie, 1/2 Australian shepherd... WHY
ARE YOU AFRAID OF SHEEP? Then again you are scared of the can
opener (the manual hand held one, not a noisy electric one lol)
so what can I really expect.
Love,
your mammas

Is it possible that the neighbor's golf cart emits a whining
sound that you either don't hear or that doesn't bother you but
drives your dogs nuts because the sound is actually painful for
them?
