We did a roast with mashed potatoes, mashed rutabaga,
cauliflower and heirloom carrots, with lemon pie for dessert.
Easter is the only time I make lemon pie because it is a pain in
the rear; it was very strange to only make one pie! I usually
make at least three, often four.
I might have to break my rule and make it again at some point
when we can all get together.
I also made hot cross buns on Thursday that the Easter Bunny
absconded with and delivered out to a few people. So I had to
make another batch last night. That's what we had for
       breakfast.

Carry out from Cracker Barrel. We usually have a big dinner. DD
and her husband came down and we sat at each end of our table,
yes six feet. Sad but nice. 🐰🙏🏻

We did our standard Easter meal of fried chicken, fried fish,
potato salad, fruit salad, deviled eggs and lemon bars. We made
up dinners for 6 family and friends who are quaratinning at home
alone and dropped meals off. Even though we were chatting from 6
feet away it felt good to just see them in person for a 5 min
       chat.

I was all prepared to serve the traditional Easter roast lamb (a
lovely piece of boned rump from my local butcher) with roast
potatoes, something my DH adores and can eat in such prodigious
quantities that to preserve his elegant figure I only serve them
on high days and holidays. But yesterday was a very warm stuffy
day, not really a day in which you feel like roast meat and
potatoes, so instead I cooked cod fillet with a tapenade crust,
and we're having the lamb and roasties tonight (the temperature
having dropped like a stone) with a bottle of Loire wine that we
bought from the maker a dozen years ago.

Low country SC style BBQ (mustard based sauce) pulled pork and
hash served over rice. We had steamed veggies for sides.

I think we are going to discover two things:
       1. We do not need some of the "butts in the seat" human presence
       that we have insisted upon.
       2. We need contact with other humans.

My DD requested deviled eggs, so I made a dozen. Other than
that, salmon, rice and peas. Will wait until we can have our
traditional Easter church service, then gather with family to
       have our traditional Easter dinner.

Pizza. It wasn't worth it to spend hours cooking a traditional
Easter ham and sides, or even a regular home cooked meal like
       chicken or meatloaf.
But don't feel sorry for me. I love pizza and don't eat it
       often. :D
