I bring good news, too!

Hi, all:
I know I had a raft full of bad news on the other thread, but
over here, I can report:
1. DS19 was promoted to Lance Corporal in the Marines. He
starts college soon, for biology and then possibly medicine or
microbiology. He was just home for Christmas and looked
wonderful :).
2. DD21 just moved out and into a house with her boyfriend and
two other guys. I have seen her new digs, and all I have to say
is "three guys sharing a house" and you get the idea ::). But
they are all nice people and have good values. DH and I may not
have picked out her BF, but we don't have a say, and he treats
her well. He's made noises about marrying her.
3. BF got a new mechanic's job which pays much more than he was
making, and DD21 began school to become a dental assistant :).

That's brilliant news - whilst we love being supportive/helpful
if we can for the not-so-great things, we like reading about
happy stuff!! :D
