I doubled my donation to Making Strides, which is a Breast
Cancer Awareness program, which also makes mammograms available
to low income women. This is a charity near and dear to my
heart, as I had breast cancer 3 years ago. (Many of the people
on EH were my sounding board during that time; I couldn't have
done it without them as people around me were too close to the
situation to deal with my fears.)

I'm donating food for our church's Thanksgiving baskets that are
given out every year to the local poor families. We try to have
everything needed from the cranberry sauce to a grocery store
gift card to buy the turkey.

A lady in my local Buy Nothing group does a toiletries drive
every year for homeless teenagers: things like toothpaste,
deodorant, and body wash. I donate to the drive every year, but
I made an extra donation this year.

I'm not currently in a position to knit pouches for hurt joeys,
but they 'big red' Donate button lured me to end my dithering of
who/what to support in lieu of helping LadyB.
So, this years membership will hopefully help save at least a
few critters...

membership. ::)]
