My guess would be VorFemme: travel + sewing machine makes me
       think of her!
Thanks for posting the pic, oogyda; makes my (very occasional)
knitting in the passenger seat look very tame.

Nope - I have a smaller sized "travel" machine - but VorGuy
won't cruise and he won't RV, he doesn't want to drive something
"that big". I think it's partly the high price of an RV and
partly the high cost of fuel & parking. He's an accountant - he
       doesn't like "the numbers".

There are smaller (and way less expensive) options than the
giant RV! We just got a teardrop trailer that can be towed by a
regular size SUV. It has a toilet/shower, a kitchen, and a
queen size sleeping area. The gas mileage is not nearly as
terrible as a big RV would be. If it's something you *might* be
interested in, you should be able to find one to rent to try it
       out.

We stayed in my brother's RV for a few nights - we both snore,
on different schedules - we need more separation or a constant
white noise source to sleep in the same room (think hotel or
cruise ship cabin - if we tried that) and the RV was not a
success...the "second bed" was child sized and really not
       comfortable for 5' 8" me.
