       Sorry to have just seen the pictures of the stockings, but
       wanted to say that they are very cute! And I love the story that
       went with them. (My mother told me that she didn't feel old,
       except that she has a daughter, me, that is old enough to be a
       senior citizen!)

       Don't apologise, gmatoy!  How many years is it since you were
       making stocking as your ornaments?  Well that's how long I've
       been intending to take/post that photo!

       While sheltering in place I found a pattern circa 1996 for what
       looked like a classic 2T dress.  I also found just enough fabric
       in my stash to construct the 'confection'.  A few days later I
       saw photos of Princess Charlotte in a similar dress with long
       sleeves and a bigger, ruffled collar.  Gave me ideas for another
       dress if DIL likes this one for Grand daughter.
