No sinning in Sin City
By: Celestia Date: April 21, 2019, 10:43 pm

I have so little to share but this needs sharing.
HTML https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/bachelorette-party-guest-shamed-email-demands-viral-180025453.html
TL;DR, wedding guest insists on being invited to bachelorette
party in Vegas and demands there be no hard liquour, no sex, no
drugs (including a guest's ADD medication) and that they all go
to church together. The details are....amazing.
I have no question here. Other than what possesses a person to
think that she's going to have any fun with a group she thinks
she has to tell all these things to? And another data point for
never letting people come along when they demand.

As someone on Reddit pointed out, this nut case is likely to
tattle to the other women's employers or even the cops if she
sees them breaking her rules.

In which case I hope she is roundly laughed at and regarded as a
serious head case.
6 days in Vegas is 3 too many, as one of the comments said. Not
to mention that 6 days like this is ridiculous. This is
definitely a justifiable cause for rescinding an invitation.

Which it was very foolish and weak-willed to have made in the
first place. But yes: it would be entirely proper to say 'This
is not in any sense "your" trip; you have no conceivable right
to dictate rules - any rules - for it; and none of the party is
willing to tolerate your attempting to do so. Your invitation is
withdrawn.'
Though I must say I have a hard time believing the story.

Agreed. Sounds made up to me.

There is a saying: "You can't make this s--t up." On my best
day I wouldn't try this out on anyone.

I’ve got to admit this makes me think “fake”. Not that you might
not get a killjoy on an outing like this, but the first bit
about calling up the pastor of a Vegas church to “let him know
we’re from out of town but still wish to worship” is over the
top. I’ve never heard of anyone feeling they had to alert
ministers about visitors weeks in advance, as if the pastor
(with the spine the bridal party should have had) would say “no,
so sorry, you can’t come.”
I think there may have been a letter but it’s been
“embellished.”
Also, I agree that six days is WAY too much for a party unless
you’re a Kardashian and party life is your business.

I thought it was fake too since this person wasn't invited in
the first place and invited herself. To Vegas. Who invite
themselves to Vegas if they don't approve of "sins?"

Why, in the name of all that’s righteous and holy, would a Bride
allow someone who wasn’t even originally invited to the Wedding
dictate everything of the Bachelorette party from what would eat
and drink to attendance at church?
I’d be very tempted to say it’s a fake story but truth can often
be stranger than fiction.

Exactly! If it is real, there are tons of places to go besides
Vegas.
