       I live in an area with iffy cell phone coverage. I picked the
       carrier who I get the best coverage in my home. That being said,
       I still prefer a text or IM because that is more likely to come
       through than a call, plus I have have a hearing deficit, so I'm
       more likely to see it. Also, at school and clinicals, I'm not
       allowed to have my cell phone volume turned on, but I can feel a
       text come through.
