       jpcher - you've gotten some excellent advice.  I'd agree with
       those who say that you can ask your boss not to call you out by
       name, as that puts you in a potentially uncomfortable position.
       There are plenty of positive reasons to have the meeting in your
       home city.  It sounds like you don't mind travel per se, you
       just don't want to fly and/or navigate driving in a strange
       city.  Perhaps you could take a train or bus to the other
       location(s), or drive there with a co-worker who likes to drive?
       It would take a little longer, but it would give you the
       opportunity to interact with others on their home turf and also
       show that you are making an extra effort to be a team player.
