       "Recently, the Philippine Red Cross reported that Bacolod City
       is experiencing lack of blood supply, it said.
       The resolution said there must be a sufficient supply of blood
       in order to meet the demand of patients and to save the lives of
       people who may need it.
       Blood donors will benefit from their voluntary act since they
       will be given a Blood Donor Card which can be later used to
       acquire blood units for themselves, their relatives or friends
       during times of emergency, it said. "
