Disable Auto Play?

Can Auto Play be switched off per user? I can't see how to do
that.
Auto play doesn't work well for my particular browsing habits.
Specifically I'll often open a tab without immediately switching
to it. Later when I get to the tab it has moved far from what
interested me. In general I just don't like auto play. I'd like
it switched off.
Thanks, of course, for an otherwise EXCELLENT site! I do truly
appreciate it :)

Any news on this? I tend to avoid your site because of this -
and other - usability issues.
Simple is good guys. The UX on my Fire Fox Quantum 66 (Linux)
browser is horrible. I scroll down a bit and everything jumps
around inexplicably. It's really a mess. I wonder what
environment you are targeting. I could try Chrome but... again,
I tend to avoid the site for now. It's a shame because you seem
to have a good collection.
