metal rimming and 8 metal centre boss with a 5 metal spike,
the buckler was held by a punch grip

..22 double edge gladius with a 8 ver skin wrapped
handle and metal acorn pommel in a loose half leather scabbard
Right hand
.8 3lb beared axe with a 14 slightly curved wooden
haft with a 7 wide curved cutting edge
Head
Y slotted metal helm
Standing in a half open stance standing on the ball of my left
foot with most of my weight on my back right about 18 apart.
Knees slightly bent my weight balanced as I stood about 8 from
you. In my left I held the buckler at centre mass 8 from my
torso covering from just below my chin to just above my left
hip. In my right hand I held the axe by the last 6 of the haft
the weighted head of the axe my elbow bending as I cranked it up
to about 8 from my left ear the cutting edge of the axe pointed
forward and slightly upwards. I watched you through the slots in
the helm and waited.

Right handed 36 Long Sword with a 5 inch cross guard
36" Round Shield with a steel band along the rim, 8" spike

Two 12" daggers one each in my right and left boot
Northern Helmet: Conical shaped, with a nose-guard, that slides
up and down. Attached to the helmet by iron rings is a
mantle-linked chain that covers sides of my face and neck.
I moved to a position which I was twelve feet from you and then
I assumed my stance with my left foot is slightly forward with
my right foot is half a pace behind me with both knees slightly
bent for balance and support. I held in my right hand is a 36
inch sword, which is positioned along the right side of my body,
with my elbow slightly elevated and the tip of my sword is aimed
toward your left shoulder. In my left hand was (Punch grip) a 36
inch round Gorean shield which contained a spike in the center
of the shield and the rim of the shield protected by a steel
band. In my left hand, I positioned the shield so that the top
rim of my shield a couple of inches from my left shoulder and
face of the shield thrust forward about ten inches. Now, with
the face of the shield presenting a barrier, I slightly bent my
left elbow, the shield was in a position that it covered center
mass of my torso with the top rim of my shield is a couple of
inches from my chin and left shoulder down to the middle of my
left thigh. I stood in my ready position with my shield
presenting a barrier between your weapons and my body while my
keen gaze locked upon you, watching you every move and ready for
pursuing battle.
I nodded, indicating that I was ready.

right foot as I kicked off into a run quickly closing the gap
between us, I would waste no time and as my leading right foot
hit the ground at 3 from you bending my knees slightly as I
leant forward slightly twisting my torso to the left(MPOV) my
shield still at center mass
simultaneously my right shoulder now thrown forward as my elbow
straightened bringing the axe in a lightning fast chop from with
the twist of the torso, the extention of the arm and elbow made
that head speed of that axe lightning fast as I aimed for that
left thigh or knee

Isstanding or walking about the Grounds outside the Hall of
Shields
says to steel is the coinage of : Watching your advancement
toward me over the rim of my shield while continuously assessing
the distance between us and the positioning of your weapon and
buckler. I focused on your weapon and the motion which your
blade was angled that was aiming for my lower torso. I pushed my
shield half a foot from my body, bending my knees slightly and
lowering the rim of my shield to my calf so the shield provided
a barrier between your blade and my thighs and knee muscle until
I heard the clang hopefully catching the blade against spike my
shield. I fluidly rose out of my crouch and then...
Swiftly elevating my right elbow upward while your right arm was
still extended against the face of my shield, it was then I
twisted my wrist so that the razor blade was exposed as I swung
my sword in a right to left diagonally downward arc, thereby
attempting to slice through your right wrist, therefore
disabling your ability to continue with your right arm.

Isstanding or walking about the Grounds outside the Hall of
Shields
says to | Be tenacious, silent, : you bringing your body down by
you bending your knees and the movement of your shield as I
swung the blade in the hopes of blocking my strike was
predictable as was the diagonal strike at my wrist, well I did a
whole lot of shit right here all at the same time, my shield was
already in place so with a hard shove towards you angling the
face so that the left rim(MPOV) would move to the right acting
as a barrier hopefully so that your strike at my wrist would be
blocked should my hand not have been withdrawn in time. As I
shoved the buckler towards you allowing it to smack into your
shield hopefully driving the right side of your shield back hard
against your chest
simultaneously twisting my hips and torso to the right to give
more drive with the shield bash and a faster return with my
right hand whipping my right arm back at the elbow and then
striking horizontally from the right at about hip high in a snap
wrap shot hopefully to come around your right side of the shield
and sink into your ribs and side hopefully to end it there

As you went to shove your buckler into my shield, I began
shuffling backward and to my left two feet, instantaneously
punching my shield across my body right side so that the blade
would be caught against the spike in the center of my shield.
As your axe was still in the midlevel position, I held my shield
forwarded as a barrier between our bodies, simultaneously
bringing my sword from my right side of my body in a tight
looping motion, I then brought the razor sharp blade of my sword
downwards from my right to left descending diagonally motion
hoping to slice through the your right knee cap thereby
crippling any potential use of your right leg.

Shields
says to | Be tenacious, silent, : as you moved back and to my
right(left YPOV) by two feet I stepped forward with my left
bringing me into a left lead about one foot from you
simultaneously I twisted my buckler back bringing the left hand
rimming back and to my left so it acted as a barrier between us
I punched upwards hard hopefully into your elbow shoving your
arm upwards hoping to shut down that strike and if I was lucky
gouge your elbow with the spike
as I saw you moving back I immediately dropped the axe letting
it fall and like lightening drew the short gladius from my left
hip as I stepped forward and with a low hip height left to lower
right drawing slash hoped to cut across both knees as I closed
to 1 from you in the hope that you would be crippled and unable
to continue

Counter Attack:
I anticipated what your reaction would be to my attack to your
right knee therefore at the same moment that your buckler moved
in position to parry my sword attack and strike my elbow; and
with my right arm still low and between us after you parried my
last attack. I twisted my wrist so the razor sharp blade would
slice through your wrist while I swung my sword upward in a left
to right diagonally arc, thereby hopefully slicing through your
inside of your right wrist and disconnecting your hand from your
arm as you initiated your attack simultaneously punching my
shield down to provide a barrier.

diagonally downwards in a descending diagonal motion at my right
knee my shield had tried to punch that closing it down but now
it was low and swinging upwards so twisting my torso and jumping
back, my torso and shoulder twisting to the right (MPOV) in the
hope of clearing that strike of your blade
