Naadi takes a small trip..

is within the slave quarters in the back part of the Hall
says to ALL: Hearing the sound of the door opening , I just laid
there looking up at the ceiling counting the small numerous
cracks upon it. I had been up for awhile now since I had managed
to make it 150.. I rose , ,figuring today is going to be one of
those days I spend out of the hall probably all day.. after all
I haven't explored these grounds yet.. well outside of the gates
anyways.. crawling out of the kennel.. and standing to my feet.
I make short work of changing , washing and redressing again..
gathering the boots upon my feet my first stop is the kitchen..
I yawned deeply considering while I was awake , it was one of
those noises which couldn't be helped..

is within the Kitchen where many different types of food were
being cooked and mead's and other drinks were warmed.
says to ALL: Shuffling press of my feet echo along the quiet
corridor leading to the kitchen. I get there really in a matter
of moments. Entering I look around before spotting the kitchen
Mistress.. the shrill sound of her voice scolding one of the
kitchen bonds almost makes me smile inwardly.. coming further in
I call out...Greetings Mistress...
Turning hearing the familiar voice , harden lines of face
actually smiling before her own voice returns in reply.."Good
morning naadi, what brings you in here?"..
Sure I knew this was going to sound like a rather odd request
and well there was really no negativity behind it.. so after
giving a small thought processing kind of look I simply
said....I need a small basket of food prepared.. I plan on going
exploring today and I really don't want to have to start forging
for food..
Of course at this she gives me one of those looks which tells
the next question that is coming to mind.. and then the words
finally escape...."Naadi you aren't running away are you?"...
I shook my head but still I spoke figuring that was the question
I knew she would instantly come up with..since I don't lie the
truth flows easily from my tongue...No Mistress I'm not running,
and I don't think I could hide it if I was.. I just want to get
a small breathier from the hall is all.. and what better way to
do that than to go looking around...
Seemingly satisfied with my answer she moves around the kitchen
putting a basket together of food for me, as well as handing me
a bota of water.. smiling gratefully in thanks.. I found my way
to the back door way.. before I exited her voice comes out
again..."Make sure to ask one of the guards to accompany
you!"...
shaking my head but still I offer..Yes Mistress of course...With
those words I am out of the kitchen and out within the bright
sunlight of the morning

on one of the main pathways meandering thru the Outpost
says to ALL: Keeping the basket within my grip I easily found
one of the pathways which will take me directly to the gates..
the morning was quiet minus a few going about there task which I
am sure will pick up the high the sun gets within the sky.
Drawing in a deep breath I think on where exactly I want to go
first , do I just want to go roam around the forest for a bit,
or do I want to find where the cliffs are and see the view from
there?.. Decisions and more decisions to be made as my foot
falls get closer to the gates.. I knew there was no way I could
get out of the outpost without having one of the guards tag
along.. actually I knew it was for my own safety , however that
doesn't mean I'm thrilled about it.. Within my mental musings I
am suddenly at the gates..

Is at or entering thru the Main Gate of the Outpost under the
watchful eyes of the guards
says to ALL: One of the guards see me approaching by myself and
just steps in front of me .. I knew this was going to happen so
I flash the brightest smile I can manage before
saying...Greetings Jarl...
He of course eyes my basket then looks behind him then back to
me as he says..."And where are you headed off to bondmaid?"...
That smile never leaving my face not being able to resist the
honest reply as it spills forth.. and I offer...Was just wanting
to do some exploring today Jarl.. as a matter of fact can I
inquire if there is a guard willing to be spared to accompany
me?.. you know to make sure I make it back in one piece?..
Reaching up and rubbing across his chin in thought.. looking to
the two milling about the guard area before returning his gaze
back to me.. as he then replies...."There is, but tell me
bondmaid what is so important out there that you wish to venture
from the safety of the outpost to see it?"...
Oh that was one question I wasn't really prepared for but I
think rather quickly as my voice releases again...I haven't
ventured outside of the outpost since I've been here and well
with the weather warming up I figured it would be a perfect time
to do so, Jarl.. Cliffs, and well part of the forest rather
intrigue me..
After I spoke he seemed to give my words a thought over and I
just waited..

says to ALL: Finally his voice broke the silence as he motions
to one of the men standing around it seemed , a rather young
looking Jarl he looked from him to me before offering..."Go with
the bondmaid and make sure she returns here before sunset.."..
Of course I grinned rather stupidly but quickly gained control
over it.. for a small second there I thought he was actually
going to refuse.. but still my voice expels on the gratitude I
feel..Thank you Jarl..
The guard he gave to accompany me just studies me for a small
ihn before saying..."forest only, closest to the outpost and not
out, is that understood?"...
Who am I to argue when I'm actually being allowed to leave here
for a little while.. of course the words I reply with are
simple...Yes Jarl..
He spun about and stepped out of the gates of course I followed
behind him.. heeling naturally.. but remaining close so the
sooner we ended up on the path out within the forest I wouldn't
get lost..

says to ALL: Seemingly trudging , literally to keep up with his
long legged strides.. swearing I have to take three for his
every two.. muttering quietly under my breath but I do manage to
keep up.. Just as he turns from the sudden pace the forest
greenery around begins to get some what thicker.. and well
before I know it trees in abundance are scattered around .. of
course I only halt within my steps to just take in the sight I
am seeing.. Tall needle trees lifting almost to the sky.. leaves
of them casting a small canopy over the ground.. I inhaled..
Enjoying the natural scent which resides here.. Having gotten
lost in my glancing it was the voice of the guard who broke me
out of it..."Come along bond maid"...
Shaking my head and well quickly moving to follow suit behind
him again .. I allow my finger tips to just graze over bushes ,
feeling the texture beneath my digits.. Oh it was peaceful out
here.. very... it was then he spoke...."It is a little strange a
bond maid would want to venture out here, wouldn't you agree?"..
Reaching into the basket I retrieve a larma from with in,
breaking it open as I pull the fruit from within and begin
eating.. chewing quietly mulling over his question.. once
swallowed I reply....Not really Jarl.. after all you can only
stay behind walls for so long before you gain the itch of just
seeing what is beyond them...

says to ALL: He pondered my response for a little while..
ducking beneath a low hanging branch his voice returns
again..."So you just felt the need to leave the outpost , there
has to be a reason.. bondmaid"..
As a matter of fact there was one, boredom .. I was bored.. but
it's not really in me me to complain about being bored.. taking
another bite of the fruit I hold almost using that as a way to
get my thoughts in better working order as I say...Well you can
only do the same things before they become monotonous to you ,
even in the world of bondmaids .. serving, chores, serving then
more chores.. tends to become the routine. And well breaking
from said routine is not always as bad thing, Jarl..
He nodded then sudden shift in his foot steps telling of the
ground getting a bit more softer as I feel it beneath the soles
of my boots.. almond gaze looking up and through the break
within the tree trunks , blinking seeing water.. coming closer..
and my foot steps suddenly picked up in their following pace..

Along the shore of the lake
says to ALL: As he broke through I realized I wasn't seeing
stuff.. it was a lake.. and well the scenery around it made it
almost the most serene place I could ever think of .. and I
never would of known it was here if I hadn't come to the
conclusion of coming out.. He stops here for a time which I am
thankful for cause even if this is all my adventure consists of
then I will be content. Allowing my gaze to sweep out over the
waters, sun light falling in a glittering illuminating light
upon the surface.. almost making it inviting and hard to
resist.. hearing the soft pushes of the liquid as it embraces
the banks.. Oh I just plonked down with my basket and stared out
over .. just across the way I see the rest of the tree lining
and even further past almost from the looks of it a tip of a
mountain.. Dragging vibrant pools of espresso up toward the sky,
blue mixed with light wisps of clouds a few birds flying over
head which for some reason makes me think of percy.. chuckling
softly in my own head. Oh it was definitely wonderful out here
and well I knew my time was short .. but whenever I could I also
knew I'd find away to come back here even if it was just to
think.. or even go for a swim on my own.. This place was
perfect.. He then turned and spoke..."You seem at a loss for
words bondmaid"..
I smiled to him as I laughed.. having gotten comfortable on the
ground I just replied...Because I am Jarl.. simply put I am...
it's gorgeous out here..
