doors to the Hall opens slowly and i slip through. Under the
watchful eye and arm of the Lothgar the Guard that held the door
by the heavy iron handle, preventing it from flying fully wide
as a blast of cold winter wind whips through....Lashes as dark
as soot and frosted with particles of snow, flutter and lift
slowly to allow deep blue eyes; the color of the Thassa in
spring look up and gaze slowly round the warm Hall..my petite
form was encased in a thick cloak of seasleen furlined bosk
leather shifts as a noticeable shiver runs up from the base of
my ankles to my spine, causing some of the snow that had
collected in my short trip to drift lazily to the floor...
The door behind me closes with a THUMP and i glance back over my
shoulder a moment as the entryway of the Hall is cast into
shadow for an ehn...delicate hands part the folds of the front
of the cloak and drift up to pull back the hood, long flaxen
tresses explode over my shoulders and down the outside of the
cloak, now freed from its confines...the hands then move to
unclasp the simple but elegant kaliauk horn clasp securing the
neck and it slides free, revealing the light arctic white woolen
kirtle beneath, the deep V cut of the cloth now secured with
simple temwood pegs through hoops of leather to keep out the
winters biting cold...pulling the cloak from my shoulders and
hanging it on a simple wooden peg by the entryway, as crimsoned
lips turn upwards in a dazzling smile to feel the adoring warmth
of the Halls fires flow over me....the cloak hung; i bend low
and slip out from the soft tabuk hide boots that graced my feet
from tip of toe to the undercurve of my knees...placing them
aside near the small warming hearth at the doors to thaw and be
dry for next i ventured outside....stretching back to my full
but diminuitive height and then unclasping the wooden toggles
that kept the kirtle closed in front...each toggle that came
free released more of my ample form to view to Those within...as
the last toggle is freed do my hands reach up in a X across my
breasts to grip the fabric at my shoulders and lift the kirtle
over my head...placing this also on the peg to dry and warm as
my blonde tresses again waft down my spine in waves of
shimmering gold...coming to rest along the lush curves of a
heartshaped ass...then satisfied i was presentable to the Jarls,
i stepped down the short flight of stairs..and then moved deeper
into the Hall as the light of dozens of torches washed over
me.....

headed first to the cooking hearth rather than the washing
basin, i wanted to get the kettle boiling first so i would not
have to wait on it, using a thick repcloth to pull the kettle
over the flames, nodding and now do i move to the basin, dunking
my hands into the warm water and making sure not a bit of dust
or dirt was left in the wake of my meticulous washing, patting
them dry with a clean towel as i then moved to the shelves to
find a more than suitable drinking vessel for mijn Jarl, smiling
over to the other bonds hard at work, and then crossing my eyes
at a passing thrall, scrunching up my nose in slight distaste as
his leer washed over my form, turning away and concentrating on
the shelves, hrmmmmmm

adding a small bowl of sugar and spoon, turning and moving to
the cold room, passing by the hearth for now and grasping the
handle on the door as i take in a deep breath, then yank it
wide....HOLY FREYA!!! shivering as the cold air washed over me,
shivering as but moving quickly as i dashed inside, looking
round fast and espying the pitcher of bosk cream, pulling it
down and quickly exiting the room, using my hip to bump the door
closed as i moved to the table once more, pouring some of the
cream into a smaller pot that was used for serving, then placing
the pitcher aside as now i turned to the kettle on the fires,
smiling seeing it was fully steaming now, pulling out a smaller
serving kettle as i moved to the hearth, and with the greatest
of care i fill this with the boiling water, placing the kitchen
kettle back onto its hook and then moving to the table again

do i move to the basin and dunk my hands into the water, washing
and rinsing them clean before patting them dry, looking over to

another tray, and added a large platter down onto it, my eyes
making sure it was neither dirty nor damaged, but i gave it a
cursory wipe down with a cloth anyways, i had OCB, obsessive

fires as i grabbed down a iron skillet and placed it onto the
grill over the flames to begin heating, with meticulous
precision born of years of service i then moved to a storage
shelf and grabbed a large bowl, and then moved back to the cold

room quickly, having surveyed the contents earlier i knew where
to go and instantly moved to where the parfleches of tarsk
strips were, grabbing down one of the rence wrapped parcels and
the small basket of vulo eggs, turning once again and departing
the room, using my hip to once more bump the door closed as i
moved back to the work table and placed the items down,
carefully unwrapping the rence to reveal the strips of meat, my
mouth instantly watering, i grabbed up two of the thickest
slices and added them very carefully to the now scalding hot
skillet, the moment they touched metal both began to sizzle and
pop, smiling as i turned to the bowl and basket of eggs and
began cracking each one individually and emptying the contents
into the bowl, humming softly to meself as i worked, tossing the
shells into a refuse bucket, one i launched at a passing thralls
head but was mindful to quckly resume what i was doing as the
thrall looked round perplexed a ehn and then moved on, smiling
to meself as i kept working

emptied into the bowl my hand moved to a metal whisk, pulling it
down off its hook and sliding it into the bowl, one hand on the
bowl and the other grasping the utensil as i started to beat and
whisk the eggs, taking some of the cream from the pitcher i had
left out and added this to the contents, this would make the
eggs more fluffy, smiling still as i also added a small pinch of
sea salt, and some other herbs, whisking harder, glancing over
my shoulder to check on the strips, seeing they were doing fine
and sizzling away, nodding and then looking back to what i was
doing...once i had whisked them fully i turned to the skillet
and with a fork i teased the strips to the side and then stabbed
both and added them to the waiting platter, once this was done i
took the bowl and poured the contents into the skillet,using the
fat from the strips to keep the eggs from sticking, using a
flattened spoon to break them up and slowly scramble them

into fluffy folds and clumps, making sure none burned, before i
quickly moved to where the fresh bread was kept, grinning seeing
that an earlier bond had already sliced some, yay, selecting the
thickest slice with the tips of my fingers i moved back to the
cooking area and laid the bread slice onto the grill to slightly
toast as my other hand went back to working the eggs, continuing
to hum my lil tune as i worked, flipping the bread slice over as
i then finished up prepping the eggs, and then taking a thick
cloth i grasped the handle of the skillet and with care emptied
the eggs onto the platter aside the tarsk strips, scraping
everything from the skillet and placing it aside, turning again
back to the cooking fires and retrieving the toasted sa tarna
bread and placing this also onto the platter, and then drizzling
some honey over its surface, before adding a clean fork to the
tray along with a cloth for any messes as i then gripped both
sides of the tray and turned, heading back to the Hall and mijn

smile wide afore instantly falling to my knees once more,

C. Ale - a lager that is amber in color and always served cold
unless instructed otherwise, it is served in tankards.
A. Bosk- ill tempered brute of an animal resembling an oxen or
buffalo on Earth, with red eyes and full length furry hides.
like the buffalo on Earth all parts of this animal can be used
for many things, meat for food, hides for leather, hair for
sewing, milk for butter, cheese, a very useful animal for the
people of Gor
B. Tarsk - the Gorean equivalent of the wild boar, tusks and
bristly hide and mean tempered...the meat is like pork and is
eaten by all and used in many recipes or ways
C. Vulo - my hated enemy, much like a Earth chicken but smaller,
roughly the size of a large pigeon both the bird and the eggs
are eaten by Goreans.
