Checking traps

Deep within the forests or mountains hunting for furs or game
says to ALL: I had needed out. Some things had bothered me over
the past couple of days. I was feeling much better now that I
had come out here. I hated it though it was snow and ice and
just outright...cold. I moved as steady as I could and come up
on the snare trap that I had set. It had been sprung but the
animal was missing. I was a bit frustrated at this and went to
the base of hte tree, taking the hunting knife from the sheath
and cutting the rope to let the whole thing come down. This was
not what I was use to and hunting here for me till I learned
more was nearly impossible. I gathered up the rope from the
ground and headed on. I guess I was hoping for something in the
other small traps...

Deep within the forests or mountains hunting for furs or game
says to ALL: I was more than frustrated that the two traps were
also empty. It had to be due to the storm. I left them empty and
without bait. I didnt much care at the moment. once it warmed I
would reset my traps and then worry about it.I turned to head
back towards the Outpost. I really was unhappy with the results
of todays trip. I could have stayed where it was warm. But no.
Me and my ideas to come out here. I kept watch around me even if
I was flustered at this. Last thing I needed was them damn snow
sleens or whatever had been up here hunting of late getting a
jump on me....

Deep within the forests or mountains hunting for furs or game
says to ALL: Pulling the hood up tighter to hold it under my
chin as the wind whipped past me nearly knocking me off my feet.
I had to grab a tree to hold on and steady myself. Once the
blast of wind had passed I let go and started forward once more.
I was ready to be warm. Green eyes pierced the area as I made my
way. I could see the path a head and that always made me feel
more at ease.

Is at or entering thru the North Gate of the Outpost that faces
the glacier, mountains and forests
says to ALL: The boots were getting wet from the snow and ice
and I could feel my feet getting numb. I made myself go a bit
faster as I now rounded the bend and could see the Gates. I knew
the Guards would give me a hard time. They always did. I was use
to it by now and it had become something of a barter. I smiled
at the thought then stopped as my lips felt the cold cracking
them muttering under my lips now....

says to ALL: I reached the gates and could see the Guards before
I even got there. the One toothless one always thought I was
crazy I heard him calling to the others..'here comes the crazy
one' I just smirked and normally played into it. when I got
close enough I pushed the hood back swiftly and shook my head
back and forth making a bubbling babbling sound. the man stepped
back and pointed...'SEE!' I just had to laugh as did some of the
other guards, looking to One I spoke to often I flashed a lil
grin to him then headed on inside the gates....

Is within or around the dwelling of Disturbia
says to ALL: I hurried along still laughing at the Guard and
shaking my head, i could see the smoke form my longhouse and
that made me feel all the warmer. I hurred even more and
unlocked the door and stepped inside. Oh it felt so nice. I
swiftly removed the wet boots and went to the fire to thaw and
warm up...
