Welcome, esteemed guests, to Authors Inkorporated, our humble
forum.
This forum is much like any other forum. We role play, we write
original stories and fan fics, share videos, talk about current
events, discuss books, play games, and an awful lot more.
However, this forum is unlike any other forum because it has us,
and we are one of the craziest bunches you'll ever have the
pleasure to meet. It's a lot of fun hanging out here, and we'd
be glad to have you come and join us. Before you sign up,
though, you might as well check out the stuff stated below:
To join Authors Ink, we mostly allow in the elite group of
people who we already "know," in some way shape or form. Most
times, you must have been or been on a site with one of us at
some point. If someone does invite you, be sure to tell the
person who invited you so that an administrator can allow you
entrance. Other than that, I'm afraid, it is rare that you will
be allowed in, unless you have a very good reason. Feel free to
post it here. It will be read, is the only guarantee, and
possibly replied to if it's a meaningful one.
We do have many rules on this forum, which can and should be
read as soon as membership is attained under our "Forum Stuff"
board. The basics go as such:
-Appropriate language is required at all times.
-Spamming, flaming, flogging, and face chaining are discouraged
unless done in the proper place. (Actually, we don't have a
proper place for flaming, so that is just a no.)
-There is a certain amount of respect you must show to every
member of the forum.
-Rules that apply to posting writing and commenting on writing
are also in existence.
These rules go more in-depth in their actual thread.
It is also important to mention, I suppose, that most times we
do not require posts to be approved before they're able to be
read. This board is an exception, and requires admin approval,
which is actually a good thing as we are often the recipients of
many ads and such that have nothing to do with anything. If you
are one of those things, please go away.
On the forum, it is not allowed to share your email publicly
with the forum (if you're in a PM, no one can stop you). No one
but the administrators will be able to see your email, and they
will never give it out to anyone, unless perhaps the government
threatens them, but even then they have a back door to every
site so that probably will not be necessary. You'll also have to
give an email to reply to this message, but again, no one but
the administrators will be able to see it. Occasionally you will
receive emails from the forum if you join AI, but the ability to
turn them off is varied.
You might be thinking that the entire forum seems rather small
for this to all be taking place, but I can assure you that we
have many more boards, and arcade, a gallery, and many other
features awaiting once your account is approved.

hi all u guests on here!!! i am actually a registered person on
here (bmw3bug) and trust me, this place rocks. probably my
favourite wedsite right now because i can talk to all my
internet buddies and play games and have a ton of random fun.
and this place has wicked awesome smilies :P ;) :D ;D 8) ::)

I really want to register, but I'd have to ask my mom first. And
I'm not sure whether she'd let me...but I can ask. If not, I'll
just stay as a guest every so often on this board. :( Anything
I could use to convince my mom that this site is safe, and
educational(ish)? I actually used a sample email...for no
reason.

Well, here you aren't allowed to cuss or anything, and you
aren't allowed to share personal info. Like, personal personal
info. I'm fine with states and countries. We talk about books a
lot, including Rick Riordian's stuff, 39 clues, Suzanne Colins,
CS Lewis, etc. etc. LOL, I saw the email XD
Just so you know, you could register to check it out, and if you
so chose, could delete the account if you decided you didn't
like it or it didn't meet your standards.
