       Ramsgate 3 Ashford 0

What can be said without repeating oneself?
Ashford did create more than on Saturday but that was due to
playing a rather poor Ramsgate team who somehow lost at
Homelands earlier this season, rather than much improvement from
       the visitors.
The home team should have scored four or five in the first half
and Ashford could have had 2-3. Neither team could finish but
Ashford were awful in the second half and were on the back-foot
from the word go. Finally Ramsgate found their finishing boots
and took a deserved three points, the last goal was very well
       taken indeed.
No Davisson left a huge hole in a non-existent midfield, whilst
the only high points were the debut of Andrew Dalhouse
(everything good about Ashford went through him) and Lee-Wharton
who was excellent in the first half.
One wonders how many more players and coach's will be hired and
fired this week as the sticking plaster policy continues this
       season.

Thanks for reporting back, AM. Yes, it's certainly the midfield
that needs looking at. Several people have said good things
about the new signing, which is good.
We certainly need to get something from Saturday's game, as, by
the time Shoreham next play, they will have three games in hand
of us - and next week they have winnable games against Guernsey
       and East Grinstead !
The hope I cling to is that our home form has been better than
our away form - we've collected 5 points from our last four home
       league games.
