       A point!

       A little fortunate to hold on in the second half but credit the
       team for hanging tough and to Aaron in net for pulling out more
       top notch saves to ensure a 0-0 result.
       I expected a little more from Sittingbourne but Ashford matched
       them in the opening 45 minutes and frustratingly failed the hit
       the target on two excellent chances for Kingwell and Howland.
       Luke Eldridge at right back did a stellar job as did the
       excellent Kingwell. In fact Difford and Sharp should be noted
       for solid performances for the most part.
       Woodcock had his best senior game and Brandon Williams continues
       to impress. Mickey Phillips finally showed the sort of player he
       once was, with a performance full of tenacity and excellent
       passing.
       Sittingbourne fans rightly left the ground with rueful looks,
       having dropped two points, but it's nice for the youngsters to
       garner some reward. This doesn't cover up the clear deficiencies
       in the team but any points garnered at this stage are a bonus.
