Good news it would seem but the cynic in me would ask why? what
duties / responsibilities / powers etc does he have, is he also
a shareholder?.....no register of persons of control I notice???
Strange as I thought it was a legal requirement now......No
doubt it will all come out in the wash.

The person of significant control is a legal requirement of the
new style Company Conformation Statement.
Ashford United first Confirmation Statement is due between 29
June 2017 and 13 July 2017.
Then the Company Secretary must state that there is a person of
significant control and name them.
Or alternatively state that no person has significant control.
You are told what significant control is deemed to be.
