Interesting article by Kentish football speaking to all 3
parties. Well, speaking to two and the usual non commital
       statement from DC.
       'DIY' pitch..... ;) ;) ;)

And so it goes on. Those who long for the days when the club was
an example to all others are accused of spreading negative
rubbish whilst one man (aided by a few sidekicks) continues to
relentlessly drive up the cul-de-sac at breakneck speed. ( It's
the vehicle with no tax, no insurance and threadbare tyres) If
the driver was to stop the car and get out , many of the faults
       could be put right.
Can't be bothered any more with the nonsense of it all. There
are enough club supporters around to force the issue and,
together with the Stadium owners, start to turn things around.
If only half of the present playing staff hung on for another
season the club would hold on to it's present status and what
attendances it would get with a fresh regime in charge.
The club and the town have the overwhelming numbers to make this
happen and perhaps it is time for those of us on the outside to
       leave you to it.

I note that BELLINTURF UK LIMITED are still in
existence....interesting recent updates on companies house.
However I'd be surprised if any other clubs used their
       "professional services" in pitch installations.

       eta an Interesting comment:
“The main problem with the pitch is the irregularity of the
playing surface as a result of issues with the
subbase/foundation level having not been laid correctly.
Essentially the laying of the 3G pitch was a ‘DIY job’, a term
coined by Tony Day, the secretary of the Southern Counties East
       Football League."

another source with a little more info:
"Pitch consultants Breen Associates identified 81 "unacceptable
undulations" which the FA say should be no greater than 10mm.
Bob Breen said: "We have been working with industry expert
companies Labosport UK Limited and Technical Surfaces Limited
and extensive pitch testing has revealed a significant amount of
surface irregularities which indicate that there has been
movement of the sub base level.""
