Promotion........or not

So the FA has issued a statement on who has applied for
promotion and AUFC aren't there.
The FA say:
Now that the deadline of 30 November 2016 has passed, a total of
68 applications have been received from clubs at Step 5 wishing
to be promoted to Step 4 at the end of the current season.

AUFC say they have applied........ someone is not telling the
truth. Time for a meeting?

Think you may find that they would fail to meet the criteria for
promotion on a few grounds.............financial and ownership
being just 2

So we have a statement. It wasn't the floodlights or the pitch
but 'it got lost in the post'.
Not sure about anyone else but when I post confidential accounts
etc I would register the envelope rather then bung a stamp on
it. Or email would be quicker.
Curioser and curioser but it is going to be someone elses fault,
you just know it.
And always the fans that suffer.

It does seem a little strange that only poor little old Ashford
United were the only club whose application got lost in the
post.
Pretty certain that there are other forces at work, but as usual
they are looking for someone else to blame.

Where is the chairman and the other 'D' owner in all this mess.
No comment from them?
And still some believe the rubbish that is being fed to them.
On the bright side a new signing. That should help our push for
promotion......... oh wait......

Yet another admin. foul up at Ashford United. Since getting
rid of Sandy Parker this has become a regular feature. The
treatment of that particular lady was scandalous. I can't help
thinking that dear Denise either forgot or was told to not to
bother. Can you really imagine that she would submit all
necessary documentation to complete this task?
(The Kentish Football site gives a clue to what is required).

With several court cases still rattling on, and the memory of
what happened in 2010, does anyone really think that the Ryman
league would welcome any Ashford side back in under current
conditions? 9

Add to that Elaine (Now at Folkestone), and Mrs Hallybone, all
of them infinately more competent than the current mess, and all
fell out of favour when the angry midget couldn't get his own
way or perceived his (lack of) power was being threatened.
In my opinion, i do not believe they bothered with the promotion
application, instead creating the facade of an appeal, that will
be "unsuccessful" and that way the fans can be strung along,
without (as mentioned above) the Ryman refusing to admit Ashford
on the basis of the current owners previous and current
financial irregularities.
