Yeah, all a bit quiet, but there may be good reasons for it,
mainly being that many of us no longer attend matches due to the
ownership of the club.
Add to that, as always with a Crosbie enterprise there are still
major doubts over the clubs ability to see out the season, and
questions being asked about their ability to pay the rent. These
questions may be malicious, or they may have truth to them, but
either way it may explain the muted reactions to the seasons
start.
There is also a wrongly perceived belief amongst some that any
pro AUFC postings will be shouted down, something which is not
backed up by the facts, with only pro Crosbie/Peach postings
actually getting short shrift.

Well politics aside for me, I'm just enjoying what we've got for
now.
And what we have got is a cracking squad of players that are
getting better as a team each game. We lack pace up front but I
think when Ince is fit that'll help us.
Rory Hill is exciting to watch, bags of pace down the wing and
very direct.
I did hear a rumour that things are looking bright with the off
field issues yesterday, but as we all know rumours are rumours.
I'm keeping everything crossed for a good season and hope it all
gets sorted.
There is nothing I can do about it all, so I just attend the
games, enjoy the football and banter and hope.
