       Spare change?

With the club having until tomorrow to find the money for the
buy back, anybody have any spare change to throw into the
       bucket.
Maybe we could raise some money some how, who's up for
       organizing a raffle?
Hopefully those at Lydd Town paid there fair share after
       yesterdays game.

Well, as there has been no gloating on their website or twitter
feed I can only assume that the deadline passed without enough
spare change being put in the bucket to enable the buy back.
The question now has to be, will the deadly duo be made to pay
for their rudeness, for their scam comments, for their frequent
legal action threats and for their rather strange behaviour in
general, by being made to look for a new home base. Of course,
if they have paid a years rent in advance then that will be a
       question for next season.

Can't we get behind the team, or do we want it to fold?
Preseason has been completed, results have been good,
information more plentiful, DC name doesnt feature as club
official on website / hub thing, squad looks competitive.
There's never any positivity about the playing side, shouldn't
the forum be renamed to something more apt?

       house and different. Keep up!

So Don Corleone has absolutely nothing to do with the club in
any capacity whatsoever official or otherwise? Taking his name
off the website means what exactly? Sorry but I don't trust him
and his cronies as far as I could throw them.

Trusting is a different question... was merely pointing out
there's no reference to him. Monkey and organ grinders accepted.

So what difference does it make whether his name is on the
website or not? I am genuinely struggling to see the point you
       appear to be making sorry.

Sorry Mushy, you have lost me. What the heck relevance does
whether or not his name appears on the hub have. He runs the
club with a rod of iron, he got the forum to close because not
everyone agreed with him, and it is yet to be seen if the club
has the financial support to pay the wage bill for long.
They need an upturn in support in order to balance the books,
but unfortunately that is highly unlikely to happen for the
simple reason that away from a few individuals, nobody likes or
trusts the owners. Even his closest allies have now walked away.
I understand from a source that a compromise offer was made
reference the ground, but they responded with yet more threats
       and abuse.
It is very difficult to separate the team from its owners,
especially when the team manager is a close friend of theirs,
but I have nothing against the players and many of the
supporters, and hope that they at least manage to see out the
       season.

This forum was set up by the admin because he wanted somewhere
to discuss the club he supports, whether it be positive or
negative. It is hardly his fault if most of the contributors
happen to be anti the owners.
Personally, although one of the biggest antis, I would be more
than happy to see reports on games, and positive posts, just
don't expect any posts praising the gruesome twosome to go
       unchallenged!!
