I heard on the grapevine that Don Corleone found a £2 coin in
the sofa and is going to buy a lottery ticket this week....well

Shouldn't we try to influence what we can... ie get behind the
team and go for it? If someone is bankrolling the players let's
embrace?, if ground is sold we'll play elsewhere?

Influence ? Yeh righto.
Interesting to see how many of those previously of influence now
involved with the "new" Ashford club, that obnoxious Pease fella
for example, blimey even DP herself is registered as a
"supporter" of the new club....... Curiouser and curiouser eh?

Don't know what you are talking about jockeyclub, never happens
at our club. Well only about 4 times this millennium, I think.
Number 5 coming up shortly I believe.

Let's see, other than the former reserve team managers who set
up the new team, we now have Sandy Parker as Secretary
(understandable as she was another volunteer treated like poo by
the gruesome twosome), the defective duo (sorry, defecting duo
(aka rats deserting the sinking ship)) Hallybone and Pease,
Peach has enrolled as a supporter (!!!!!!!!!!!!!), as has the
missing of late Matt Parker. Mr MKC and the bunny have also
offered their support.
However, one of the few remaining genuine supporters left has
already been driven away by the unfounded accusations of the
obnoxious Mr P. The club may change, but the poisoned atmosphere
doesn't.

A cynic might say there was more to all this "new" Ashford
football club than meets the eye.
