It would appear the club's Twitter account is down, anyone know
why?

Social media, so much better than a forum.

It's down because the creator of the account decided to change
it from the Ashford United official twitter page to the Ashford
Football Club twitter page. Some people took offence to this and
the account was then closed.

Don't understand why it was closed down, though. It was his
twitter account and he can call it whatever he jolly well likes
(within legal restrictions, of course). Taking offence at what
someone calls their twitter account is pathetic, and if anyone
feels that strongly they could always open an account of their
own for news on AUFC.
United we stand, divided we fall............but quite honestly
who really wants to unite behind you know who. I guess if you
are behind him it will be harder for him to stab you in the
back, but sure he could find a way. He would have made a good
politician, you know!!

No interest about this news on here... far too positive! Assume
the club have also been smashed in last two friendlies vs higher
level opposition?!

2-2 last night. AUFC 2-0 up at half time with Maidstone getting
2 in the second half to bring about a draw.
Good match and a good crowd, Big George excellent as usual.
Couple of queries.
Why were the gates locked so early, quite a few had to knock to
be let in? No stewards? No food?

What positive news have I missed, Mushy? The only positive thing
that I have heard about AUFC lately is that Mr P has switched
allegiance to the new club so presumably that will make AUFC
home games a far more pleasant environment.

The last thing the club needs is people walking away... we are
on the verge of something amazing. Really looking forward to the
new season, and will try to take in a few Ashford FC games.
