What is going on?

There seems to be conflicting information, talk of all sorts of
things happening, but so many of them just seem to disappear in
to thin air, or get proven wrong.
We were told that AUFC would not get a new lease all the time
the gruesome twosome were in place, they did.
We have been led to believe that the SCEFL would not accept AUFC
in to the league all the time that the gruesome twosome were
involved..........it seems like they have been.
We have heard that AUFC are yet to get FA affiliation, but they
are in the draws for the Cup & Vase.....possibly only
provisionally, I accept.
We have been told to expect court action on more occasions than
I care to mention, usually on a Tuesday as has been pointed out
elsewhere, but nothing ever seems to come of it. What happened
to the court case last Monday, the one that nobody else seemed
to know anything about.
We are told that the club can hardly afford to keep going, but
then sign loads of players, none of whom are likely to be cheap.
Is anyone going to tell the long suffering supporters the truth
at any point........no, I very much doubt they will.
Having followed Ashford since the early 70's, I have lived
through many very bizarre, almost catastrophic events, but what
the gruesome twosome have done to the club is the worst ever,
and all because the nasty little man doesn't give a damn about
the club, or the fans, just his ego.

As much as I understand, buy out still running till August so
Utd still playing for a nominal fee at Homelands.
Big hopes mentioned at supporters meeting that pre season games
(at the £8 price) will deliver cash influx.
FA Cups entered into last season but I am led to believe
affiliation now all sorted.
Court case led to a valuation being done on Tuesday of Homelands
by the twosome's valuers.
Fund raising meeting by SOE/supporters at Sandyacres to discuss
fund raising ideas.

Thanks for the response, fluff, and most of what you say sounds
perfectly reasonable. However I am at a bit of a loss to
understand how a court case and valuers going to Homelands are
connected, but guess I am missing something.
To be honest have never trusted or liked Mr Crosbie, but I am
also not a great fan of Mr Jones, as he seems to have kept the
Ashford fans as much in the dark over events as the gruesome
twosome.
Never mind, the reputation of ATFC/AUFC has been dragged through
the mud to such an extent that there is little hope of the
community of Ashford ever getting behind it.

It seems some value the Homelands higher than others. All to do
with debts owed v asset value.
Agree with you about both sides.
In the end the only loser is club.
