Not what I was looking for.
By: chathambill Date: June 18, 2016, 2:21 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I joined this forum in the hope that it would be a decent voice
for disgruntled AUFC fans. Looks like I was wrong. The
recent childish attacks on the two people who tried to run the
AUFC Forum proves my point. Whatever these two may or may not
have done neither can be accused of any of the following:
Being an undischarged Bankrupt for the period 2014/15 thereby
forcing his wife to sign loan agreements.
Losing Homelands to V Bar. and making matters worse by ill
judged comments in the local press.
Lumbering AUFC with some £500K of debts most of which were of a
       personal nature.
Putting the future of AUFC in serious jeopardy by refusing to
allow respected local business men an active role in the running
       of the club.

You joined this forum May 19, 2016, This was posted on here on
April 25, 2016, before you joined, (possible the 1st post ever)
before the formation of the new club and before the closure of
the "official" forum - so you knew what you were joining and I
fail to see why you are now whingeing.
"I know he is a sycophantic old fool, but if the forum
disappears, as per his threat, there is only one person to
blame, and that is admin himself, whatever else he may try to
       claim."

You are correct that they didn't undertake the things in your
list but they certainly actively supported / promoted those that
did and, what's more, verbally attacked those that didn't
       support their views.
I just hope this new club has the sense to keep them at arms
length and make no apologies for posting my opinions on them.

Totally agree with 90% of your posting, chathambill, but I do
not consider it childish to condemn them for ruining what had
been a very good forum, until they decided to remove postings
not because of content, but because of who was posting it. You
obviously didn't get nasty, abusive pm's from one of them,
basically for pointing out what you have stated in the majority
       of your posting.
I'm sorry, they may come across as well meaning, hard done by
forum mods, but they had no idea how to run a free and open
forum. And yes, I have run more than one "open" forum, and
realised that you have to allow people to post opposing views if
you are to have a decent forum. Keep it clean and reasonable,
sure, delete because you don't like the view is just plain
wrong. Sorry you don't agree, but don't give up on this forum,
this is just a very, very small little difference of opinion on
       two people, not a chasm.

Do you really believe that the duo had control over the forum?
Whenever has 'he' allowed anyone else to have control of what he
believes is his. I know that whenever something was posted tht
he didn't like the command went out to remove it. I don''t know
about the PMs which if correct is not right.
I like an open banter forum as long as it is not abusive
everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Good point well made, fluff. Probably accounts for 75% of
removals, I will admit, but do have proof, sorry that should
read did have proof, since the forum has gone, that many were
removed due to personal grudges, nothing to do with content.
Anyway, this topic is just a distraction from the travesty of a
once fine club being run into the ground by you know who, and I
will refrain from any further comment on this subject.

I agree ChathamBill, The man is the single cause of all the
       trouble at this club.
Although the actions of the old forum mods were not the best, I
don't hold them wholly responsible. They only acted in the realm
of what was expected by the poison dwarf, and how many people
and businesses have bought into this charlatans delusions?
Unfortunately, if you put your name to something, (oh the irony
of lambasting those who don't post under their own names), you
have to stand by your actions . They are now forever tarred with
the brush of being Crobies Men, even if they now tied to a
       different club.
