       MATCH REPORT:
  HTML http://ashfordtownblog.blogspot.co.uk/2018/04/whyteleafe-v-ashford-united-isthmian.html
It looked like we were going to play out a boring game and win
0-1 - which would have been great - but it wasn't to be. Still
no win away from home in the league, and yet another penalty
conceded. Good, solid performance, though, and the squad seems,
       at last, to be stabilising.

Many thanks for the report, Phil. I think a draw at Whyteleafe
is a decent result. The Ashford team you saw yesterday bears
little relation to the one i watched beat Chipstead on the 6th
January. Have we topped the 80 mark for players yet?

       Hi John.
No, we're on 78 at the moment - and I suspect that that number
won't grow any further this season. However, I strongly suspect
that there are at least half a dozen in the current squad who
aren't good enough, and so won't make the cut for next season.
Generally, I feel that there's plenty of cause for optimism for
       next season.
       Phil.
